Forena vzw in Menen is a sheltered workshop (social enterprise) with more than 850 employees. Many of them are people who find it hard to get a job on the regular labour market. In their metal department, they combine a welding robot, 12 manual welding machines and a brand-new DWK welding cobot. The result: higher output, consistent quality and more inclusive job opportunities on the shop floor.
